Hello everyone! My name is Chicki and I'm a world traveling chicken with an eye for photography. My friends here at Untold Indy have been working diligently to find out more about bicycling in Indianapolis for some stories you all will see in May, and it has inspired me. The sleek frames and gritty gears are shouting to be photographed. So I have decided to hold a contest to see what kind of photo skills you have in this city.
Do you have an interesting photo a of a bike? Do you think you can take one? Send your best shot to our editor (natalie@untoldindy.com) along with your contact info. The photos will be posted to the Untold Indy Facebook page where we encourage everyone to cast their votes with likes and comments. I will take each photo into careful consideration, but the most interesting photograph will be chosen and announced on May 4.
And as if the prestige of being chosen wasn't enough, the taker of the winning photograph will win our grand prize package sponsored by Bikes on Mass Ave, Indianapolis' own full service urban cyclery. This package includes a light set by Planet Bike (featuring a Blaze headlight and a Superflash tail light with over 100 hours of blink time to keep you seeing and seen while you are on the road) as well as a 17 part multi-tool by the Crank Brothers (It's like a Swiss Army Knife for your bike).
The camera is in your hands now, Indianapolis. Let's see what you can do with it.
Thank you everyone for all your wonderful photos. The contest has now ended. See the winning photo here!
